Harper has also played for QPR and Northampton Town
Veteran goalkeeper Lee Harper has agreed a deal to stay with Kettering Town next season.
The 37-year-old played 61 times last season and was voted the supporters' player of the year.
Kettering manager Mark Cooper told BBC Radio Northampton: "I've got to pay credit to the chairman, because he's enabled us to get Lee back on board.
"Lee's an experienced keeper. He's steady away and he gives us a bit of security at the back."
Cooper has recently added James Jennings and Francis Green to his squad for the Blue Square Premier campaign.

"James is an exciting signing for us. We didn't think he'd be available, but he turned down a deal at Macclesfield and chose to come to us. He looks an exciting prospect," said Cooper.
"Francis is very experienced, he's played a lot of league football and I think he'll score us quite a few goals. He's quick and fit, and I think our fans will take to him."
Cooper, who has made made a total of five new signings this summer, is pleased with his squad.
"The squad is taking shape nicely. We were patient, and we've brought in the players we really wanted," he said.
"The team will take shape in the friendly games and hopefully it'll be another fantastic season for us."
