Ipswich Town have reached agreement with defender Ben Thatcher over the termination of his contract.
The former Tottenham and Manchester City player made 23 appearances but was never selected to play in the first team by manager Roy Keane.
Ipswich chief executive Simon Clegg told BBC Suffolk: "We both agreed it was in our mutual interests to terminate the contract.
"I'd like to thank him for the commitment he's shown to Ipswich Town."
