Ipswich Town defender Ben Thatcher could be available for Saturday's Championship game at Blackpool.
The Wales international played a full match for the reserve team at Ebbsfleet on Monday and coach Chris Kiwomya believes he is nearing a comeback.
"Ben did well and came through the game fine, he's close to full fitness now," Kiwomya told the club's website.
Thatcher tore a thigh muscle during the 4-1 Carling Cup defeat to Wigan at Portman Road in September.
Ivan Campo also played for 80 minutes in the 1-1 draw in which Jordan Rhodes scored for Town.
