Liam Rosenior says Ipswich Town are letting fans down

On-loan Ipswich defender Liam Rosenior has admitted Town's players are letting supporters down following their defeat by bottom side Peterborough on Tuesday.

Victory for Rosenior's parent club Reading on Wednesday sent Town back into the Championship bottom three for the first time since December.

He told BBC Suffolk: "They deserve a lot better than they're getting from all of us at the moment.

"It's just not good enough, it's frustrating for all the players."

Ipswich have four players on loan and there has been criticism from some fans that they may not be fully committed to getting Town out of relegation trouble.

But Rosenior, who has been at Portman Road since September, says the players do care.

"It's professional pride, you go out and give your best every game and at the moment it's just not been good enough," he said.
