Former Ipswich Town captain Billy Baxter has died at the age of 70 following his battle with cancer.
The Scot played 459 times for Ipswich, picking up consecutive Second and First Division championship winners medals in 1961 and 1962.
Baxter, who passed away at Dunfermline hospital, also led Ipswich as skipper to the Second Division title in 1968.
He left Town for Hull in 1971 and was appointed player-manager at Northampton Town in 1972.
Baxter, who scored 22 goals for Ipswich, was one of five former players inducted into the club's Hall of Fame at a dinner in March.
