Haynes is the latest Ipswich academy graduate to sign a new deal

Ipswich Town winger Danny Haynes has signed an extension to his contract, taking him through to June 2011.

The 21-year-old academy graduate had 18 months remaining on his existing deal.

Haynes told the club website: "I feel I am making progress and have been working hard on my all-round game with the coaching staff."

The move secures Haynes' future at Ipswich amid reports the club are close to signing midfielder Luciano Civelli from Club Banfield of Argentina.
