Ipswich defender Dan Harding has joined Championship rivals Reading on loan for the rest of the season.
Royals manager Steve Coppell gave the 25-year-old his full league debut when he was Brighton boss in 2003.
"Dan will give us that extra element of competition and insurance going into what's a critical stage of the season," Coppell told Reading's website.
"He can do a job for us anywhere on the left hand side of the pitch and he is a player that I know well."
The former England Under-21 international signed for Leeds in 2005 before joining Ipswich in 2006.
