Ipswich boss Jim Magilton has said his side will be "switched on" for their FA Cup third-round tie at Portman Road.
They will face either League Two Chesterfield or non-league Droylsden, on the weekend of 3/4 January.
Magilton told the club website: "It's a home draw and that is all you can ask for.
"Whoever we face will relish the challenge of coming to Portman Road to cause an upset. We'll do a professional job to make sure that doesn't happen."
Chesterfield and Droylsden replay on Tuesday, 9 December after Saturday's game was abandoned due to fog.
