Ipswich Town manager Jim Magilton has said striker Danny Haynes needs to be more consistent if he is to break back into the starting XI.
Haynes, 20, has made 13 appearances for the Ipswich first team this season, but has not started a game since August.
Magilton told BBC Radio Suffolk: "We know that he's a real asset, his pace can cause problems and he can make an impact from the bench.
"Danny is still learning the game and we have high hopes for him."
Haynes has made 112 career appearances for the Blues, however 76 of those have come from the bench.
His two goals this season came in the Carling Cup win over Leyton Orient.
