Former Manchester City defender Ben Thatcher has gone on Ipswich Town's pre-season tour of Northern Ireland.
The 32-year-old - who is a free agent after leaving Charlton - played in Monday's 7-0 win over Cliftonville.
Manager Jim Magilton told BBC Radio Suffolk: "He has been a top-class pro and he's got a cultured left foot so we're delighted to have him.
"We'll see how he is, we'll have a look at him, he'll have a look at us, then maybe we can come to some arrangement."
If a deal can be agreed Ipswich would become the former Wales international's seventh professional club.
Town's next game of their three-match tour is against Donegal Celtic in Belfast on Thursday.
