Hull City to hold talks on Brad Guzan loan extension

Hull City will decide after the weekend on whether to extend the loan spell of Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan.

The 26-year-old's current deal ends after Saturday's Championship game against Cardiff City, and fellow loan keeper Vito Mannone is also now fit.

City boss Nigel Pearson told BBC Radio Humberside: "We'll look at it over the next few days and what our options are.

"We've got a number of loan players and with Vito's availability now we're going to have a careful look."

Hull currently have five loan players, the maximum allowed in a match-day squad of 18.

Pearson added: "I think he's done very well for us and yes [we would like to keep him], but without jumping the gun we'll see how it develops.

The US international has made 10 appearances for the Championship club since signing on loan in January, and has kept a total of four clean sheets.
