Wales defender Sam Ricketts celebrates survival with Hull manager Phil Brown
Hull City manager Phil Brown says he does not expect Wales full-back Sam Ricketts to leave the club this summer.
Ricketts, who has one year remaining on his deal at the KC Stadium, has been linked with Portsmouth and Everton and is in talks with Hull over a new deal.
"It is something that is ongoing and has been for six months - and something that will be ongoing for the next six months, I daresay," said Brown.
Ricketts, 27, made 35 appearances for Hull last season.
The 33-cap international spent two years with Swansea City between 2004 and 2006 after being promoted from non-league football by then-Swansea manager Kenny Jackett.
"He has got another year left on his contract so I fully expect him to be in for pre-season training," said Brown.
"There is nothing with regards to any of the players making any kind of move with regards to getting away.
