Hull's Brazilian star Geovanni says he is disappointed his fellow countryman Kaka has decided to stay at AC Milan.
The 29-year-old believed Kaka, who was linked with Geovanni's former club Manchester City, would have been a welcome addition to English football.
He told BBC Look North: "I would really like to see him here because he's a good player.
"The English league is really good today and it would be good for us Brazilians to have him here."
Geovanni has settled well into East Yorkshire life and is Hull's leading scorer in their first season of Premier League football.
The player has been involved in a number of community projects in the city including a goodwill visit to a local hospice.
