Mouyokolo helped Boulogne win promotion from French Division Two
Hull have completed the signing of defender Steven Mouyokolo from French club Boulogne.
The club initially agreed a deal for the 22-year-old in January but allowed him to stay with Boulogne for the remainder of their league campaign.
He finally signed a four-year contract on Tuesday and is now looking forward to playing in the Premier League.
"Hull City stayed in the top division and that is a brilliant thing," Mouyokolo told the club's website.
"My team in France won promotion to the top league for the first time as well, so the ending to the season was the best I could have hoped for.
"Now I have come to Hull and it has always been my dream to play in England....England has always had the best league in the world and everybody wants to play here."
He added: "This is a dream come true and I now have the opportunity that a lot of players in France want."
Mouyokolo is likely to be the first of several new faces joining the club this summer after they only avoided relegation from the Premier League by a single point.
His arrival was confirmed on the same day that eight players, including veteran striker Dean Windass, were released.
