Hull City boss Phil Brown said he was looking forward to meeting Newcastle United for the third time this season.
His side travel to St James' Park after their FA Cup third round tie finished 0-0 on Saturday.
Brown told BBC Look North: "I'm ecstatic that we're still in the draw for the fourth round of the FA Cup.
"We're going to St James' Park and maybe the rest of the squad might get an opportunity to show what they are capable of."
Brown made eight changes to the side which narrowly lost to Aston Villa in the Premier League earlier in the week.
The tie will be replayed on Wednesday 14 January and the winners will meet Millwall or Crewe over the weekend of 23/24 January.
