Hull City to suspend ticket sales

Some Hull fans have queued for season tickets for two days

Hull City have announced they will suspend the sale of season tickets when their ticket office closes on Monday.

Tigers supporters have been queuing outside the KC Stadium waiting to buy the remaining season tickets for their Premier League campaign.

The club have said they need to re-evaluate the number of seats left.

Hull City Commercial Director Andy Dawson said: "We're hopeful that for everyone queuing we will be able to satisfy that demand."

By lunchtime on Monday fans were being urged not to join the queue because the club were close to a sell-out.

Hull had already sold more than 15,000 season tickets before their play-off final victory against Bristol City.

The capacity at the KC Stadium is 25,400 but segregation rules mean that will be reduced for Premier League fixtures.
