The Dawsons came through the ranks at Nottm Forest

Hull City defender Andy Dawson is relishing the chance to play against his brother, Tottenham's Michael, in the Premier League next season.

The Tigers promotion to the top flight set up the first clash between the brothers as professional players.

Andy told BBC Look North: "I spoke to my mum and dad and we've decided a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane and the KC and we'll all go home happy."

Michael watched his brother in Saturday's play-off final at Wembley.

Andy's wife, Lisa, said: "I just remember looking round and seeing everybody from Andy's brother to his dad and mum and the smile. Our cheeks were hurting just smiling so much."

The brothers will learn the date of their two encounters when the Premier League fixtures are released on 16 June.
