Life changing for promoted Tigers

Paul Duffen
Duffen has taken Hull into the top flight after under a year in charge

Hull City chairman Paul Duffen has described as "life changing" his club's promotion into the Premier League.

The Tigers will play in the top flight next season for the first time ever after beating Bristol City 1-0 in Saturday's Championship play-off final.

Duffen, who took over last year, told BBC Look North: "I'll have a chance to reflect properly in the summer.

"It is life changing for the city and for all sorts of people. It's something that needs a bit of sober reflection."

The club are expected to spend a large amount of their windfall in strengthening the side, with on-loan striker Fraizer Campbell a target after the Manchester United man set up Dean Windass' Wembley winner.
