Huddersfield goalkeeper Ian Bennett has signed a one-year contract extension that will keep him at the Galpharm Stadium until the summer of 2012.
The 39-year-old, who joined the Terriers from Sheffield United in June, has made 14 appearances this season.
"It's great news for the club that he has agreed to stay," Town manager Lee Clark told the club website.
"He has been a very positive influence in the changing room thanks to his experience and knowledge."
Former Birmingham man Bennett added: "When the club approached me about a possible contract extension I was delighted.
"Huddersfield have exceeded all my expectations since I joined. I would love to see out my playing career here."
