Huddersfield Town sign Arsenal striker Benik Afobe
Afobe was part of England's U17 European Championship winning team
Huddersfield Town have signed teenage Arsenal striker Benik Afobe on a month's loan.
The 17-year-old, who has signed in time for Tuesday's game at Sheffield Wednesday, will act as cover for Jordan Rhodes and Joe Garner.
Terriers boss Lee Clark is currently without Lee Novak, who is out for six weeks with a torn hamstring, and Alan Lee, who is serving a three-match ban.
Afobe's loan at the Galpharm Stadium will run until 4 December.
Clark told the club website: "With two of our first team strikers currently unavailable, I have moved to bring Benik into the club to ease the strain on our other two available strikers.
"Benik is relatively inexperienced having not played a senior game prior to this move, but he will be enjoying a brilliant footballing education under Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.
"He has great pace and strength and I'm confident he will do well for us."
