Huddersfield Town have drawn up a six-man shortlist for their vacant manager's job following a board meeting on Tuesday.

The club are now expected to start the interview process next week.

Chairman Ken Davy told the club website: "The calibre of the shortlist is very high and we are pleased with the candidates.

"We will be in touch with those managers on our list in the very near future," he added.

Davy said the club would not rule out anyone who still wanted to apply.
