Mitchel-King took the Histon captaincy on from Adie Cambridge last season
Defender Mat Mitchel-King has said he is considering offers from clubs in the Football League as well as Histon.
The 25-year-old's deal at the Glass World stadium has expired, making him a free agent.
He told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "Rather than shut my options up I decided to keep them open.
"I've had meetings with managers and I've had phone calls from teams. We have spoke about terms but I've yet to sign anything."
The choice between signing for a full-time club or staying with the part-time Stutes is not a straightforward one for the former Mildenhall man, who balances life in the Blue Square Premier with his other job as a model.
"This isn't just a black and white decision for me, there are other factors that come into it. If I was a bit younger I'd probably try the full-time thing straight away," he said.
"Histon have offered me a deal and it's a good deal. It's early days, I'm looking forward to addressing the situation come the end of June."
Meanwhile one player who has committed his future to Histon is left-back Gareth Gwillim, who has signed a two-year deal with the club.
