Histon boss Steve Fallon has said his men are under no illusions as to how tough it will be to claim a Blue Square Premier play-off spot.
The Stutes held promotion rivals Stevenage to a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.
Fallon told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "It's going to be tough for us because we're battling some really big clubs.
"But we'll be aiming to pick up some points in our next two matches - we're going to have to play as well as we did against Stevenage."
The Stutes still have to play Oxford, Kidderminster and Burton, but currently have games in hand over most of their promotion rivals.
Midfielder Jamie Barker came off injured midway through Tuesday's draw with Stevenage.
Fallon is hopeful the 29-year-old will be available for Wrexham on Saturday.
"Barker might have cracked a rib and we missed him a little in the second half," he said.
"Lee Roache came on and did well and he's learning about playing wide right and he'll continue to get better at playing there."

Striker Danny Wright could also be back in contention after missing the last four matches with a hamstring strain.
Histon are fourth in the table, three points above Boro.
