Histon defender Lanre Oyebanjo has been named the Blue Square Premier player of the month for October.

He has been at the heart of a defence which went through the month without conceding a league goal and defeated Salisbury, Crawley and Ebbsfleet.

Histon are in the play-off positions following their recent run of results.

Meanwhile Chelmsford City midfielder Dave Rainford won the Blue Square South award and Tamworth's Bradley Pritchard earned the Blue Square North prize.
