Histon 1-0 Crawley

Crawley lost top spot in the Blue Square Premier as Histon claimed a deserved win to move within two points of their high-flying opponents.

Histon's Josh Simpson smashed a superb first-half shot against the woodwork from 12 yards and Jack Midson sent a header against a post after the break.

Crawley struggled, with Jon-Paul Pittman's shot their best chance.

Histon got their goal on 75 minutes when Simpson crossed and Antonio Murray drove home from 12 yards.
