Hibs land new keeper
Daniel Andersson
Andersson is an experienced goalkeeper
Hibernian have signed Swedish goalkeeper Daniel Andersson on a year long deal.

The Easter Road club have been looking for cover for number one choice Nick Colgan, following the recent departure of Tony Caig to Newcastle.

30-year-old Andersson, formerly with AIK Solna and Trelleborgs, was out of contract and therefore eligible to sign outwith the transfer window.

"Daniel comes highly recommended and I am pleased to have secured his services," said Hibs manager Bobby Williamson.

"Daniel is an important addition to the squad and we look forward with working with him.

"I know that Daniel had other options and we are pleased that he has chosen Hibernian."
