Shrewsbury Town have agreed to allow midfielder Steven Leslie to remain at Hereford until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old joined the Bulls on a month's loan in March and has been a regular member of the first team since.
Leslie has made seven appearances during his spell with Hereford, scoring in the 3-0 win against Chesterfield.
"There is a 24-hour recall if we want him and he won't be able to play against us," Town boss Graham Turner told BBC Radio Shropshire.
The Shrews' manager believes the deal will prove beneficial for all parties.
"The experience of going somewhere else and getting league games should stand him in good stead for the future," added Turner.
"He's got a lot of ability, a terrific left foot so it can only do him a lot of good."
