Striker Lee Morris has had his contract with Hereford United cancelled by mutual consent.
The 29-year-old had been on loan to Forest Green Rovers, where he had scored twice in nine games.
He was due to return to Edgar Street after playing in Rovers' final match away at Grays last Saturday, but has agreed to part company with the Bulls.
Morris made 14 appearances for the club, without scoring a goal, after joining them in the summer of 2009.
He also spent time on loan at Mansfield Town this season, scoring once in five games.
The much-travelled Lancastrian started his career at Sheffield United before a £3m move to Derby County in 1999.
After 92 games for the Rams, Morris went on to play for various clubs, including a two-year stint at Yeovil Town.
