Graham Turner is also the majority shareholder of Hereford United
Hereford boss Graham Turner says points are more important than performances in their League One relegation battle.
The Bulls face fellow strugglers Swindon away on Saturday still eight points adrift of safety with 11 games to go and only Cheltenham below them.
"The most important thing is we go out there and scrap for our lives and for our place in the first division," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"I know we have to work very hard, and I know other teams have to slip up."
On top of the loan signings of Manchester United duo Sam Hewson and Fabian Brandy and Liverpool pair Peter Gulacsi and Godwin Antwi, Turner also brought in Cardiff City's Republic of Ireland Under-21 international defender Darren Dennehy last week.
"We have made a few changes," said Turner. "But what I didn't want to do is sit down at the end of the season and think I should have done something.
"There's a few in there who will put their heads in and put their foot in, work their socks off for the cause and that's what we have to have.
"It's easy with hindsight but, with the games coming thick and fast you needs fresh legs. You need fresh faces."
