Toumani Diagouraga is a long-term investment for Graham Turner
Hereford United boss Graham Turner says the decision to hand new man Toumani Diagouraga a three-year contract is a good deal for all concerned.
The United boss told BBC Hereford and Worcester he believes it is an investment in the future of the club.
"His agent and Toumani himself were looking for a three-year contract," said Turner. "I was happy with that.
"I think he's going to get better and he can run the show from midfield for us, so it's a great signing."
The 21-year-old north London-born midfielder signed last week from Watford after spending the whole of last season on loan at Edgar Street, missing only five league games.
He had made five start for Watford two seasons ago, as well as enjoying loan spells at Swindon Town and Rotherham United.
