Hearts are close to agreeing the summer sale of striker Roman Bednar to West Brom for a fee of about �2.3m. The English Championship outfit want to secure the 25-year-old Czech on a permanent deal after his impressive displays during a season-long loan.
Injury kept Bednar sidelined until early November but the former Mlada Boleslav forward has wasted no time in becoming a hit at The Hawthorns.
Bednar has scored 15 goals in 23 appearances for Tony Mowbray's side.
Injuries interrupted Bednar's two seasons at Tynecastle, where he made 39 appearances and scored 13 goals.
