Gordon was valued at 10m by Hearts coach Steven Frail |
Hearts keeper Craig Gordon has shrugged off his 10m price tag and insists he is not seeking a summer transfer. The 24-year-old Scotland international told Hearts World: "I don't think any player is worth that to be honest.
"You're only worth as much as someone's willing to pay. If they want to sell me during the summer they'll need to find a bid that's suitable for them.
"I'm more than happy to come back and fight for Hearts next season and try to get us back in Europe."
The Hearts skipper was tipped to leave Tynecastle in January but Fulham had an offer turned down, while Gordon rejected a move to Spartak Moscow.
Manchester United and Aston Villa have watched Gordon in action but the player is in no rush to hand in a transfer request.
"The ball is very much in their court," he added.
"I still have two years left on my contract and I'm not banging down the door asking to get away.
"If they decide to cash in on me and take some money for me, then that's their prerogative and I'll listen to whatever offer comes in, but if it's a good offer for me I'll be happy for that.
"If it's not, I'll look forward to the start of the new season here.
"There's no rush for anybody, me or any of the clubs."
