Hartlepool United have signed Newcastle striker Ryan Donaldson on an initial one-month loan deal.
Pools have the option to extend the deal if the 19-year-old impresses at Victoria Park.
Donaldson has made six first-team appearances for the Magpies since making his debut in a 1-0 win against Leicester City in August 2009.
He was also part of the England under-19 side that made the semi-finals of the European Championships in July.
