Andy Rafferty is Hartlepool's first summer signing
Hartlepool United have signed goalkeeper Andy Rafferty from Northern League side Guisborough.
The 21-year-old spent time on trial at Victoria Park last season, featuring for the reserves in victories over Bradford, Grimsby and Huddersfield.
Manager Chris Turner said: "He's done very well in the last couple of months.
"Andy has shown great potential so we're confident that working with Gary Walsh and Scott Flinders will bring him on further."
Rafferty was released by Darlington before going into non-league and playing for Crook, Hordon and Guisborough, where he's been for the last two seasons.
