Hartlepool have made a double loan swoop for striker Tom Craddock and defender Graeme Lee from Middlesbrough and Doncaster Rovers respectively. Both players joined the club on a month's loan deal and boss Danny Wilson is delighted with the calibre of players he has brought to the club.
He told BBC Tees: "It's important we brought in an extra striker so hopefully we can get games for Tom.
"Graeme's been a terrific servant and he'll steady the ship at the back."
Craddock has played four times this season for the Premier League side, but slipped down the Boro pecking order with the signing of Afonso Alves.
The striker made his Boro debut at the age of 19 against Fulham two seasons ago and had a loan spell at Wrexham cut short because of injury in 2006.
Centre-back Lee returns to Victoria Park for a second time having left Teesside for Sheffield Wednesday in 2003.
Last season he skippered Sean O'Driscoll's Rovers' side to the Johnstones' Paint Trophy at Cardiff where his goal helped them to a 3-2 extra-time win over Bristol Rovers.
