Craddock is on a month's loan from Middlesborough |
Wrexham manager Denis Smith was delighted with new striker Tom Craddock after the 20-year-old scored on his debut, a 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers. "He had a super second half and caused them all sorts of problems with his movement," Smith told BBC Sport Wales.
"I was glad he got the goal after a few chances, that will settle him down."
Craddock joined last week on a month's loan from Middlesborough, but Smith's problems up front increased when Chris Llewellyn was sent off against Rovers.

"I'll have to see who's left to play in his place," bemoaned Smith, who has Neil Roberts, Lee McEvilly and Juan Ugarte on the long-term casualty list.
"The red card was the only disappointment in the game, but it's hard to argue with the referee.
"Chris is not the sort to go in maliciously and I think he went for the ball, but he went in with two feet."
The Wrexham boss was delighted to prove the doubters wrong after questions over his future had been raised, the Dragons having lost nine out of 10 games before Saturday.
"People were getting hysterical but we just kept on working and I hope that showed," said Smith.
"We were very disciplined and [goalkeeper] Mike Ingham barely had a save to make after the first 20 minutes.

"We could have been three up by half-time, and that gives you confidence."
Smith was also pleased at being drawn at home to Conference side Stevenage Borough in the first round of the FA Cup, to be played on 11 or 12 November.
"Getting a home draw is super and we need a good run for financial reasons," he said.
"Finances are going to be fine at the club so the cup isn't vital this year, but it always helps.
"But, more than that, the fans love a good cup run - and I love a good cup run! It's a great competition.
"We know that the non-league clubs are never walkovers, but we have to turn the home draw to our advantage."
