Archive - Jack Ross scores a wonder goal for St Mirren
Hamilton have signed Jack Ross on a one-year contract after the 34-year-old wing-back was released by Scottish Premier League rivals St Mirren.
He previously played under Accies manager Billy Reid at Clyde.
Reid told Hamilton's official website: "Jack is a player I have admired for some time and I'm delighted to bring him into our squad."
Ross had made more than 70 appearances for the Buddies since moving from Falkirk in August 2008.
He had been with Dundee and Forfar Athletic as a youth before joining Clyde from junior club Camelon and also had a spell in English football with Hartlepool United.
Hamilton have already signed defender Andy Graham, previously of Stirling Albion, midfielder Gavin Skelton, who was out of contract with Kilmarnock, and winger Jim McAlister, who rejected a new contract with Morton.
Before Accies started pre-season training on Monday, they also had added three signings primarily for their under-19 squad.
Scotland Under-19 goalkeeper Andy Kennedy, 18, returned to New Douglas Park three years after being sold by Accies to Celtic.
Defender Michael Devlin, 16, also arrived from Celtic, while 17-year-old defender Reece McGillion, who was once on St Johnstone's books, was recruited from juvenile football.
