Duffy was sent off in his final Stags appearance against Fleetwood
Grimsby Town have signed Mansfield striker Rob Duffy only days after failing to agree personal terms with the player.
Duffy, 28, has joined the Stags' Blue Square Bet Premier rivals on a two-year-deal for an undisclosed fee.
The two clubs had agreed a transfer fee for the former Wales Under-21 international earlier this week but he initially decided against a move.
Duffy goes straight into the squad for Saturday's trip to Eastbourne.
The former Charlton youth product joined the Stags from Newport County in January 2009 and scored 31 goals in 70 league appearances during his time at Field Mill.
Having turned down a move to Grimsby on Monday, he appeared to be on the verge of signing for Neath in the Welsh Premier League.
