Grays Athletic have released eight players following their relegation from the Blue Square Premier.
With the club applying to join the Ryman Premier Division, manager Julian Dicks has begun cutting his squad size.
Goalkeepers Preston Edwards and Glynn Garner have been told they will not have their contracts renewed.
They join Gavin Hoyte, Alex Rhodes, Jamie Guy, Wayne Gray, Richard Graham and Jordan Wilson who have all left the Recreation Ground.
Striker Alex Osborn has signed a three-year deal with Dagenham and Redbridge.
