Grays manager Wayne Burnett is confident their defeat by Burton was just a blip in their recent good form.
The Blues lost 1-0 to the leaders, denting their run of 10 points from six games which had lifted them out of the Blue Square Premier bottom four.
"We're still in a relegation dog-fight and it's evident we have to start picking up points again," said Burnett.
"But I'm really confident with the players I have and we need to regroup and hopefully go on another run."
Burnett's side are now just two points clear of the drop zone, with both Woking and Forest Green Rovers having games in hand over the Essex side.
But, despite Saturday's defeat at Bridge Road, Burnett was pleased with the performance his side put in against the league's runaway side.
"I honestly felt we were worthy of a point," he told BBC Essex.
"I felt we matched them in all departments and the one error in the first half probably cost us the game."
