Burnett counts Grimsby amongst his former clubs

Grays Athletic have announced Wayne Burnett will take over as manager at the end of the month.

Burnett will take charge of the Blue Square Premier on 29 September, replacing current incumbent Tim O'Shea, who will remain on the coaching staff.

The former Fisher Athletic boss will be the club's third manager this season, following Mike Woodward's decision to step down from the role last week.

Before management, Burnett played for Plymouth, Grimsby and Huddersfield.
