Midfielder Sam Sloma has become the 10th new signing of the summer for Grays Athletic boss Mickey Woodward.

The 25-year-old has joined the Blue Square Premier club from fellow Essex side Dagenham & Redbridge.

Sloma spent two seasons with the Daggers for their Conference promotion and debut season in League Two.

Prior to his time at Victoria Road, Sloma had extensive experience in non-league football as well as a spell in the USA with Milwaukee Wave United.

Sloma joins fellow midfielders Stefan Bailey, Mark Molesley and Ishmael Welsh, defenders Mark Haines, Rob Gier and Stuart Elliott, strikers Jamie Taylor and Charlie Ide and goalkeeper Steve Arnold in making the switch to the Recreation Ground.
