Gillingham striker Simeon Jackson has been named in the full Canada squad for the first time.
The 21-year-old, who has scored seven goals this season, could make his debut in the World Cup qualifier against Jamaica on 19 November.
Manager Mark Stimson told BBC Radio Kent "It's a fantastic honour and we wish him all the best.
"He's got to thank his team-mates because they are the ones putting the balls in for him to get on the end of."
Jackson, who was born in Jamaica but lived in Canada until he was 15, has represented Canada at under-20 level.
