Stimson's side have not won away in the league since 23 August

Gillingham manager Mark Stimson admits he cannot understand why his side are playing so badly on the road.

The Gills, who have already lost four away league games this season, have two impending trips to Macclesfield in League Two and to Bury in the FA Cup.

Stimson told BBC Radio Kent: "It's a worry when you get beaten and this season we don't seem to be able to deal with the away games for some reason.

"But it'd set our season up nicely if we do it properly and win both games."
