Gillingham's Simeon Jackson looks set to miss the Saturday's game at Macclesfield due to an ankle injury.
The Gills' leading scorer has missed the last three games, including Tuesday's 2-0 defeat at Lincoln, where they failed to record a shot on target.
Boss Mark Stimson BBC Radio Kent: "I think Tuesday was the first time we've missed him.
"He would have been the one getting in that area, demanding the ball and looking a goal threat."
Stimson added: "The two games we had before that, we scored a couple of goals and probably didn't miss him.
"But a player with that amount of goals so far this season we're going to miss.
Jackson has scored seven goals from 11 starts in League Two so far this season.
