Jackson has signed a contract running until the summer of 2011 |
Gillingham striker Simeon Jackson has insisted he will not have any problems adapting to League One football after his arrival from Rushden & Diamonds. Jackson scored 18 times for Blue Square Premier side Diamonds this season, but failed to find the net on his Gills debut against Cheltenham on Saturday.
"There's not really much of a gap and I'm just going to work hard," Jackson told BBC Radio Kent.
"My game is to look to get on the end of things, get goals and work hard."
He added: "It's a tremendous club. I'm just going to try and get settled and gel with the players."
Jackson arrived at Priestfield on a three-and-a-half-year deal for 150,000.
