Gateshead are still hoping to make it the quarter-finals of the FA Trophy after Tuesday night's 1-1 third round draw with Barrow at Holker Street.
The two sides now meet again at the International Stadium next Tuesday night (9 February, 1945 GMT) for the right to meet York City.
"We've got an incentive to play York in the quarter finals," Gateshead boss Ian Bogie told BBC Newcastle.
"But, most importantly, we're still in the Trophy."
Gateshead have now twice shared the spoils with Barrow this season, having also drawn 3-3 at Holker Street on Boxing Day.

And Bogie admits that the two sides are tightly matched.
"The two teams like to play football," he said. "We like to get the ball down and play.
"Barrow like to use the width and have good players.
"And the two times we've played them, there's been nothing in it.
"It's evenly poised, but we've got home advantage next week and hopefully we can capitalise on that."
