Forest Green Rovers have sealed a loan deal for Newport County central midfielder Wayne Turk.

Turk has been training at the New Lawn for the last two months whilst still under contract with County.

The 29-year-old's arrival follows news that Lee Fowler is set to be out until the New Year with a knee injury picked up in training and may need surgery.

Wingers James Norwood and Chris Flood have returned to Exeter and Crawley after being on loan at the New Lawn.

They follow Ben Watson who had already gone back to Exeter after his loan spell expired.

It leaves Forest Green with four players currently on loan - strikers Liam Head and Liam Enver-Marum from Plymouth and Crawley respectively and Mansfield midfielder Gary Mills, in addition to Turk.
