Forest Green have signed striker Loren Maxwell as winger Ross Stearn left the club by mutual consent.
Stearn, 18, made two starts and five substitute appearances, scoring once.
Rovers boss Dave Hockaday told BBC Gloucestershire: "It was Ross' decision, he's comfortable with it. We wish him well and we'll push on."
Maxwell, 20, arrives at the New Lawn having been was an apprentice at Watford before spending 12 months at the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain.
He takes Stearn's number 14 shirt in the squad.
