Josh Low scored two goals against his new team on Tuesday
Cheltenham midfielder Josh Low has joined Blue Square Premier neighbours Forest Green on a one month loan to cover the club's ongoing injury crisis.
The 29-year-old played and scored two goals against Rovers in the Gloucestershire Senior Cup on Tuesday.
Rovers boss Jim Harvey told BBC Radio Gloucestershire: "We've lost another couple of players with injuries. The tale is so repetitive now.
"He is fairly flexible. He could play in two or three roles."
He continued: "We are delighted it was all clear and he was going to come in.
"At the moment, we are just delighted to get an extra body coming in."
Low started as a junior at Bristol Rovers, but first made an impact when he was 21 at Cardiff City.
After a year at Oldham, Northampton paid 165,000 for him in 2003 and he has stayed in the East Midlands since with spells at Leicester and Peterborough.
Forest Green take on Altrincham at the New Lawn on Saturday.
